Over the past few weeks, we've received a couple of phone calls where, the moment we answered, there was nothing but silence on the line. So, we decided to check the number using 1471 and it brought up the subscriber's number, 0845 2,969,662. Naturally, we called this number to find out who had tried to get in touch, only to be met with a recorded message stating that the number is no longer in service. It leaves one scratching their head-how can they call us using a number that’s supposedly out of commission?

How is it even possible for someone to ring us from a number that’s supposedly out of action? It's all quite baffling, isn't it?
