Absolutely, I've had my own run-in with them as well. Back in January, I received a call where they claimed to represent O2. I was in the thick of my lunch break with my six-month-old toddler, so, in a moment of weakness, I gave a half-hearted nod to their offer of a new sim card, just to get them off the line (how foolish of me!). The sim card arrived, but of course, it was useless and messed up my existing contract. I then found myself stuck on the phone for ages with the actual O2 customer service trying to sort out the mess - and to top it off, they had nicked over £20 from my bank account, which the chap in the Indian call centre swore was non-refundable. Never again will I entertain a chat with such a dodgy outfit. My advice? Report them, block the number, and don’t even look at your phone if it lights up with that number!
