Yeah, I had a run-in with these lot back in January as well. They claimed to be from O2, but I was dealing with my 6-month old during lunchtime and just agreed to get a sim from them to stop the call - bit daft really. The sim came through but didn’t work at all and it messed up my contract big time. I then had to spend ages sorting it out with the real O2. They’d already taken over £20 from my bank, and the person on the other end, who sounded like they were in India, told me I wouldn’t get it back. Honestly, I won’t be answering or trusting any calls from them again. Best just report, block, and ignore if you see their number.

Got two calls on Saturday 5th April. They said they were from o2 but never asked who I was. After I picked up, there was a long pause before anyone spoke. I’m going to block the number now.

They say they’re calling from O2 but honestly, they’re not really connected to O2 at all. Best thing to do is just hang up, block the number, or if you’re feeling cheeky, you could wait for some poor agent on the other end and give them a piece of your mind or confuse them a bit. You could even jokingly warn about reporting them to some telecom watchdog or something.
