Earlier today, we received a call from a woman representing this company, claiming she needed to verify our claim or something along those lines. To be perfectly candid, we weren't really paying much attention as our main concern was how on earth they managed to get hold of our number. We’ve never dialled this number nor have we ever inquired about any details related to child maintenance. It's quite baffling to us how they obtained our number and personal information, considering we’ve never shared any of that with them!

I managed to track down this number for Maintenance Options. It seems like there's a new setup where you can have a chat and get some advice before you decide to engage with a Customer Service Agent. However, if I’m being frank, I’m finding the whole situation to be quite bothersome. We attempted to reach them again at 08452930004 after hearing eleven missed calls over three days, only to be greeted with yet another automated message that directed us to an alternative number (08009880988). Our experience hasn’t been particularly useful, and despite having had a conversation with them, those folks are still ringing our number incessantly.

It feels a bit dodgy, like those typical cold callers you often hear about.
