Earlier this morning, at precisely 8:50, this number rang through. By the time we managed to answer, the call had already disconnected, leaving no voicemail behind. We nearly tripped over ourselves rushing to pick up the phone, particularly as I care for two elderly family members with significant health issues-such calls at that hour can be quite alarming. Who on earth are these individuals, with seemingly nothing better to do than pester others for absolutely no reason? And, just to add, being on the Telephone Preference Service feels utterly pointless in my experience; these persistent callers always have some flimsy excuse for not adhering to the rules regarding unsolicited communications.

Today alone, this number has called our home three times! It seems rather odd since every time, there’s nobody on the line. After about half an hour, the call just cuts off without a word. Honestly, if they aren’t interested in a conversation, what’s the point of ringing us? I’m beginning to feel we might have to stop answering the landline altogether because of these annoying companies that waste our time with their pointless calls.

At precisely 13:40 on the 23rd of June 2011, I answered a call only to have the caller hang up without a word. My question is, if these folks aren't interested in chatting, then what's the point of ringing me in the first place? It seems rather pointless, doesn’t it?

I've encountered this number and a slew of others that seem to have some kind of spinning dial setup. It appears these callers are relentless, trying to reach various marketing companies. If you don’t answer right away after a couple of tries, the line just disconnects and they move on to the next unsuspecting victim. But, once you do pick up, you’ll find yourself conversing with someone eager to bombard you with offers on loans, investments, PPI, and all sorts of other financial jargon. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

Today, we received a call from this number, apparently linked to a company called Solar Panels 4u or something along those lines. A woman with a Welsh accent informed us that we could have a solar panel installed on our roof at no expense, and claimed there were absolutely no hidden charges involved.

We're being bombarded with calls from these folks non-stop! We tend to ignore calls from unknown numbers, but the frequency of their attempts has become downright maddening. Whenever you try to return the call, you’re met with some ridiculous automated message about rings, which then cuts off. It’s really frustrating! We're particularly concerned as our mother, who is disabled, struggles to reach the phone whenever it rings like this. They need to be put a stop to!
