10 yearsReceived a call from this number earlier today, but they didn’t leave a message which makes me a bit wary.11 yearsI received a call from one of our cousins over in Foreignlandistan. Being on the ex list, TPS registered and ring barred due to our shift work, I was less than impressed. The audacity of her to wake us up and then demand confirmation of our details right after ringing me was astounding. In response, we thought it prudent to reference a bit of the data protection legislation. In the blink of an eye, the phone went silent, and now we're unable to reach them again. What a shocking turn of events!ForeignlandistanTPS11 yearsI received a call from this number.11 yearsI just received a call from this number, and the person on the other end spoke with a foreign accent, asking for someone named Mr Step Hen. I replied with a baffled, "Pardon?" To which she repeated, "Mr Step Hen." I couldn't help but chuckle and thought to myself, "You absolute fool; you can't even pronounce our name properly!" Not to mention, that's not even close to our surname-it's our first name, for goodness' sake! Yet she persisted, claiming she needed to speak to Mr Step Hen. I shot back, "I'm afraid there's no Hen associated with the Step surname here!" and, just like that, she hung up. What a lack of patience from her end! Haha! ;0)Step HenHenStep11 yearsLike others have mentioned, this one’s a bit peculiar. The voice on the line - an Indian accent - is inquiring after the former resident, which is rather tricky given that he passed away a decade ago! I shared the contact number 'Celestial 118118', but I suspect they missed the irony there! We’re also ex-directory and registered with the TPS, but it seems like these individuals are referencing some ancient contact list, which clearly isn’t useful in our situation. Our next step will be to escalate this matter to the service provider and see if they can get these callers to pull their socks up!TPS11 yearsMuch like what Rob M experienced, we answered this number only for the call to suddenly drop. When these folks ring back, I’ve got a few choice words ready for them!Rob M12 yearsWe've recently received a call from the number 08452876801. A lady on the other end, with quite a strong Indian accent (likely of Indian descent), mentioned she was calling from Duncan Plain Management firm. If I recall correctly, she claimed the office was based in Leicester. We really struggled to understand her, so we eventually explained that we weren’t interested in any marketing calls and are registered with the TPS. While she was absolutely courteous and just going about her work, we’re really becoming weary of these calls coming through!Duncan Plain ManagementLeicesterTPS12 yearsI recently received a call from this number, and the chap on the other end didn’t say a single word - not even a ‘hello’. It’s quite amusing really, considering they chose to ring just as I was sitting down for my dinner. The next time they call, I’m definitely going to request their name and home phone number, so we can give them a bell during their own mealtime! Cheeky, isn’t it?12 yearsI reckon this could very well be Duke Claims or something along those lines. I just couldn't catch what he was saying clearly.12 yearsI had a rather peculiar conversation with a rather foreign-sounding young lady on the phone, who began by chatting about loans. I mentioned that we secured a rather hefty sum of £1,000,000 from the Bank of England and are diligently repaying it at the rate of £50,000 each month. Quite frankly, I found her attempts to discuss mis-selling a bit tiresome and indicated that she seemed a bit clueless about the matter at hand. I politely requested that she ensure her company ceases all further communications with us. It’s becoming rather tedious, you see!Bank of England12 yearsI’ve received multiple calls from this number, but they hang up shortly after the second ring. I didn’t bother returning the call since it seems rather dubious.12 yearsReceived a call from a bloke with an Indian accent. He seemed to know our name-and, of course, our phone number too. We're signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, mind you. He was inquiring if we had a credit card that was insured and hinted that we might be eligible for some sort of reimbursement for who knows what. Odd, isn’t it?Telephone Preference Service12 yearsWe received a call from this number earlier today. A voice that sounded rather not local assured us she wasn’t trying to sell anything, yet her spiel was strikingly similar to the classic Rob-re claims we’ve come across. When we mentioned that we weren’t interested and had no credit to spare, she seemed determined to continue, but we ended the conversation before she could get far. What struck us as odd is that she knew our names, leaving us puzzled as to how she got that information, particularly since we’re ex-directory.Rob12 yearsReceived a call from this number earlier, but there was no one on the line. I'm a big fan of this site; it’s incredibly useful! I’ve since added the number to my 'Block' list. Cheerio! :o)12 yearsWe received a call from this number claiming they were representing the Ministry of Justice! The caller just wouldn’t take no for an answer. The moment we expressed our disinterest, they kept ringing back, three times in total right after we hung up! Now, it seems they've decided to send some kind of information to the names we mentioned (Toby Lerone, Jamie Dodger, Carly Whirley, and Cherry Bakewell). Quite the persistent bunch, aren’t they?Ministry of JusticeToby LeroneJamie DodgerCarly WhirleyCherry Bakewell13 yearsReceived a call from this number, but when we answered, they abruptly hung up.
