I've been receiving pesky calls on my work phone, which I've had for the past six years, at least twice daily for the last few months. Despite repeatedly requesting them to stop calling and to delete my number, they simply hang up. I've attempted to ring back and select the option to have my number removed from their records, but to no avail. Every time they ring, they claim to be following up on an online inquiry about debt management, which I never submitted in the first place. I'm absolutely fed up with this nonsense!

I recently got a call that turned out to be a recorded message offering so-called "debt-free advice". Naturally, my curiosity piqued, I opted for a call back to find out how they had managed to get hold of my information. The person on the other end claimed they were with Consumer Advice located in Liverpool, despite me residing in Hertfordshire. They seemed to be pushing some sort of government initiative for debt assistance. When I inquired about their company or the scheme's details being available online, I also expressed my concern about sharing my home address, suggesting instead that they could send the information via email. To my surprise, the chap informed me that wasn’t an option, insisting they could only send materials to a physical address. When I reiterated my preference for email correspondence, he abruptly ended the call! Honestly, government schemes to assist folks? What a farce!

I received a rather peculiar phone call today, claiming I had requested some kind of debt package by pressing 5 following a voicemail-which, to be perfectly honest, I have never heard. When I asked the individual on the other end to remove my details from their list, they absurdly advised that in the future, I should ensure I press 9 instead of 5 to avoid such unsolicited calls. I'm quite keen to lodge a complaint about this matter. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
