I received a phone call where the caller asked if I was Mr or Mrs and then admitted they struggled to pronounce my name, which is quite straightforward, really. Then they went on to say I had supposedly won a £1000 voucher for either my kitchen or bedroom. I couldn't help but mention my annoyance at their difficulty with my name before they abruptly ended the call.

I've been bombarded with calls lately! First, I received one claiming I’d be getting testosterone vouchers through my letterbox, and it was all just a bit strange. Then, another call came in where they wanted to know the age of my washing machine, telly, fridge, and all sorts. It didn’t stop there-next up was a supposed win of a grand for home improvements! As if that wasn’t enough, I got yet another call saying there’s some agent looking to help me get extra cash from my life insurance. They even had the audacity to ask how much I’ve been shelling out for it! What a nuisance!
