I've received numerous calls from this number over the past few days, quite a persistent little nuisance, I must say-ringing at all hours, including into the night, but never leaving a single voicemail. This morning, I decided to pick up, and to my surprise, it turned out to be the folks behind Classic Rock, Prog, and Metal Hammer Magazine, formerly known as TeamRock and Future Publishing. They were attempting to pitch me trial and digital subscriptions to their other publications, seeing as I already subscribe to one of their titles. Quite the marketing strategy, isn't it?

I've been getting calls from this number repeatedly over the last several days, at all sorts of times - even during the evening - but they never leave a message. Finally, I decided to pick up the phone this morning, only to discover it was the folks from Classic Rock / Prog / Metal Hammer Magazine (formerly TeamRock, part of Future Publishing). They were keen to sell me digital trial subscriptions for their other publications since I already subscribe to one of them. When I refused their offer and mentioned how frequently I've been bothered by calls from this number, they assured me they'd remove my number from their call list.
