I got a call from a guy earlier who sounded pretty polished. He said he was organising meetings for a firm named Alliance, arranging one-on-one chats with financial advisers nearby. He claimed they could shed some light on the latest government financial updates. Honestly, I reckon it’s just a scam trying to pitch some dodgy pension release deals. Be careful and don’t bother going along. Just tell them you already have a financial advisor and keep your details private - best to give them a firm no.

Got a call from a lady who was keen to tell me about some event. I asked her, “How did you get my number? I’m on the TPS.” She goes, “We’re not pushing any sales, that’s why we don’t bother with TPS rules.” Sure, that sounds believable... not.
