They told me to call them, but it won’t let me use my phone as it says I don’t have any credit. This is supposed to be their 24 hour pay line for car parking fines. The fine’s 100 quid for being stuck for just 12 minutes in a queue at Iceland! It feels like they’re just ripping people off, making it really hard for those struggling to actually pay. I’m thinking of getting the BBC’s Rogue Traders involved.

Thanks to their insights, I decided against making that call. But let me tell you, navigating the website was no walk in the park either! I struggled to find it at first, which meant I couldn't scan the QR code. After three tries, I finally managed to get it right! It kept flagging errors and sending me in circles. Honestly, this whole ordeal has left me feeling quite exasperated, and I can only imagine that others feel the same way!

I called to make a payment, but I really regret it. I'm fairly convinced-though not absolutely certain-that the sign indicated it was free for disabled parking. I showed my badge and parked in a designated space, only staying for around 45 minutes in the early evening to let my dogs have a romp on Fraisthorpe beach. There were hardly any other vehicles around, just a handful, and none of them seemed to have bothered with a ticket either.

Legit - a parking fines firm. They billed me £2.19 (O2) for a call lasting 4 minutes and 18 seconds.
