I can confirm that I have also experienced the same issue with the C.S.A. Like others, I have been receiving multiple phone calls throughout the day. They would leave messages on my answering machine, giving a Christian name and a telephone extension. They usually do not provide any information about the purpose of the call, claiming it to be a private matter. Furthermore, there have been numerous calls where my phone only rings once or twice before abruptly stopping, and other occasions where the caller remains silent for a short while before hanging up! These calls originate from the aforementioned 0845 numbers or similar ones. Sometimes they even come from a private number, although it is impossible to verify this. It is truly disgraceful! The government, meaning you and me, are paying these individuals just to irritate people!
