This is definitely a scam, just more telemarketing rubbish. Daisy really needs to be responsible for allowing this to happen. According to GDPR, we shouldn’t be getting any calls like this without our permission first. Seems like there’s some people based in India pretending to be from the UK, which is just not on.

This number popped up on my phone but I missed the call. Figured it might be worth ringing back since I was waiting to hear from someone in London. When I called, an automated message started about market research and then the line cut off. The whole thing lasted about 6 seconds, but EE still charged me 89p! Lesson learned: never ring back unknown numbers, no matter how important they sound. If it really mattered, they’d leave a message or try again. Gonna flag this as dodgy because those charges can stack up fast if you’re not careful!

I got a call from this number saying they were ringing on behalf of NLAG, which apparently stands for North-East Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust Hospital. The person on the phone wasn’t even sure what NLAG meant, and neither did I, so I told them to take my number off their list. Later, I looked it up on Google and found out what NLAG is. If the NHS staff answering calls don’t even know about their own organisation, that’s pretty worrying.

I just received a call from this number claiming to be from a Building and Civil Engineering firm, wanting to speak to someone regarding Payroll. They refused to provide a call-back number, so I used 1471 to trace it. The caller had an accent which seemed South African and introduced herself as Matt.
