Absolutely a con artist. Received four calls in under three minutes. I've now blocked the number.

So, I booked an electrician for this Thursday to install my hob and paid with my card straight away. He gave me a reference number and mentioned an 0845 number for customer support. I'm feeling a bit uneasy about handing over my card info without properly verifying their details first. Has anyone else had this kind of experience? Thoughts?

I received a call from this number earlier and, thinking it might be the call I was anticipating, I rang them back. An automated voice came on, speaking at lightning speed, and then I was put on hold with some rather annoying music playing in the background.
