Curiosity got the better of me, so I picked up to find out what they were on about. It turns out it was American Express, claiming they wanted to share some "exciting new benefits" for our card. In other words, they were trying to push some insurance nonsense on us. I kindly let them know I wasn’t interested and requested they refrain from calling us again. Quite the persistence, isn’t it?
