We've had a call from these individuals at our home as well. Just to note, we're on the Telephone Preference Service list.

I've received calls from this number for the past fortnight, claiming to represent American Express. Though I am indeed a customer of theirs, I'm beginning to suspect that these calls aren't legitimate.

Not long after receiving multiple calls from 08451557392 inquiring about our son and claiming to be from American Express, we decided to ring up using a local number (01273 696933). We wanted to verify whether 08451557392 was indeed an authentic Amex number. The person we spoke to confirmed it was valid and suggested that our son might not have updated his contact details.

I’ve noticed this number calling quite a bit recently, usually around the same time each month. It hadn’t been registered previously, so it piqued my curiosity.

I've noticed that this number has been persistently trying to get in touch with me for the last month, always at the same hour. Strangely, no one ever answers when I pick up the phone. It's becoming rather bothersome, to be honest!

Called five times earlier today, and I chose to give them the silent treatment each time. Then, lo and behold, they rang again at precisely 8:35 in the evening. Curiosity got the better of me, so I picked up to find out what they were on about. It turns out it was American Express, claiming they wanted to share some "exciting new benefits" for our card. In other words, they were trying to push some insurance nonsense on us. I kindly let them know I wasn’t interested and requested they refrain from calling us again. Quite the persistence, isn’t it?

I've just received a call from this number. Generally, I avoid answering the phone late at night and prefer to let the voicemail take over. We've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, yet this has been one of the more frequent numbers getting through to us.

Received five calls from this number earlier today, all of which I chose to disregard. They tried again at 8:35 PM, so I thought I’d answer just to find out what they wanted. Turns out it was American Express, reaching out to share some “exciting new benefits” related to our card. In other words, they were trying to push insurance on us. I made it clear that we weren’t interested and asked them not to call again.

Received a call earlier today, but they didn’t bother to leave a message. It might be from American Express, as we do hold an account with them.

Received a call from this number, but I usually avoid answering my phone in the evenings and prefer to let the voicemail pick up first. We're on the Telephone Preference Service list, yet it seems like the number of unsolicited calls we're getting is on the rise.

I received a call earlier today while I was out and about. I sincerely hope it’s not a call centre trying to sell us something, given that we’re on the Telephone Preference Service list.
