Called me a couple of times then just ended the call, no message left.

No idea who it was. I had the number blocked already so it just went to voicemail. Heard some robotic voice saying something about "Thank you, your number has been confirmed and added, we will contact you shortly" or something like that. Sounds like a total scam to me.

It was an Indian call centre claiming to be a UK business, trying to trick me into handing over my bank card info. Never trust anyone calling and saying they're from BT, HMRC, or British Gas. They're just after your card details at the end of the day!
