I keep getting these scam calls where the phone might ring just a single time or sometimes not even that, so I never get the chance to pick up. Then, when I call back, maybe just to see who it was or just to be polite, I end up getting charged some ridiculous premium rate. It’s all a robot, no real person on the other end at all.

Just looked over my phone bill and noticed I got hit for 79p for a call to 08451340634 that didn’t even last a second! Can’t believe I got charged for something that never happened.

I got a message from a recorded voice saying my number was verified and that they'd contact me again soon. They never mentioned who they were though.

My phone rang and it answered itself, then there was this recorded message about my number being verified. Tried calling 02 and all they said was it’s a premium rate number but wouldn’t tell me the price for 24 hours. Feels like a total scam to me.
