I got a spam letter just like the one mentioned earlier, and when I rang the number on it, they immediately started asking for money.

Today a guy showed up in a white van covered in red writing claiming to be from Npower. He started telling me I owed over £6000 and they were going to disconnect my electricity. He handed me a note with some unclear info and a phone number starting with 0845 to ring back. Definitely looks like a scam to me.
