Got a call from this number earlier today, turns out it's Sage Technical Support. Ended up stuck on hold for an hour and a half - absolutely ridiculous.

Looks like this is the contact for Sage's tech support. It’s a Lo-Call number, which is fine, but the waiting times can be seriously frustrating. After complaining quite a bit, they told me they’re planning to make this a freephone number soon. Also, if they happen to call you first, you won’t be charged for the call, which they’ve confirmed.

I rang this number trying to get help from Sage tech support for a client. After being stuck on hold for over 14 minutes, I just gave up and ended the call. To make matters worse, I got billed £9 for waiting around. This is just awful and smells like a scam to me. They basically keep people hanging for ages, raking in about £40 an hour without actually helping anyone. Honestly, this sort of thing should be banned. From now on, I won’t be suggesting Sage software to anyone.
