This is concerning a debt that’s nearly eight years old and one which should be covered since we were made redundant. We've got an arrangement with them that’s been consistently upheld, with weekly payments that have never been missed. Recently, we sent them a detailed financial statement and requested that they correspond with us only via letter. How do we determine when they've got all the necessary documentation relating to the debt they acquired from the bank? The minute they ring us and say 'hello', we respond in kind, but when they repeat their inquiry, we just keep saying 'hello' as if we’re stuck in a loop! Even when they try to call us by name, we just keep up our 'hellos' until they eventually hang up. It’s quite comical really, what a pity!
