Got repeated silent calls from this number. Turns out it’s CABOT FINANCIAL. They claim they purchase debts for just 2%, then seem to use scare tactics to pressure folks into paying debts that can’t even be enforced. Really sketchy behaviour.

They keep calling me like 6 times daily and it’s so annoying, I’ve just started ignoring my phone altogether now, but the problem is I miss calls from my family as well. Proper irritating, honestly fuming!

Watch out for Cabot Financial, they’re debt collectors. They might ring and say there’s a parcel they couldn’t deliver, but it’s just a trick to check your identity. After that, they’ll harass you with calls any time, day or night. They chase debts that are long expired, which they bought for pennies from the original lenders. Proper low-life behaviour. Best thing to do is block their number and avoid engaging with them.
