I've received the precise same message as countless others. Our code for deletion is VRBT. We're currently in the midst of notifying our telephone service provider and have also flagged it to '[email protected]', which we stumbled across on a website!

So it's the same situation for us, is it? I’ve heard that to remove it, you just need to respond with "RXE9"?

We've had a similar experience too. Notably, we've taken out vehicle insurance under his name, and I suspect these individuals might be collecting information from that.

Indeed, we’re in the same boat. The message supposedly requires a response of TGLU (I have no idea what that stands for) for it to be taken off the list. We simply responded with STOP instead. Since the text was aimed at our son, we suspect it might be linked to a car insurance company I dealt with not long ago, as that’s the sole contact that’s had our number, albeit under our lad’s name.
