The number belongs to the telecare service my mum uses for emergencies. She wears a bracelet with a help button, and if she presses it, they ring back to see if she’s alright. The call comes through on her special loudspeaker device, not the usual phone. If they can't reach her, they have our contact details to get hold of us so we can check on her or they’ll alert emergency services if needed. It’s a really reliable setup.
