They somehow knew my first name without me even saying it. The person on the phone said they were calling because I live in social or council housing, which isn’t true at all. Sounds like a scam to me, just fishing for info. I’ve blocked them but I’m sure they’ll ring back from another number soon. The same group called me earlier today from a number starting with 03330. If they bother me again, I’m not sure I’ll be as friendly next time.

Not sure what the company's called, but they were using a phone number from near me. I picked up but hung up straight away once I figured out it was just some telesales call.

I got a call from this number a few days ago. When I rang back, all I got was some recorded message about “Switch my ISA” or something similar. Didn’t bother staying on. They use the area code from my town which tricks you into thinking it's someone nearby. With a kid at school, you get worried straight away with numbers you don’t recognise like that. Seems like a sneaky way to get you to pick up instead of just going to voicemail. Yeah, they're definitely blocked now!
