Every evening, my phone seems to automatically call this number, racking up quite a bill in the process.

I discovered that this was the number for Card Safe. It seems there was a bit of a glitch with your device that kept calling them. When you get in touch with them at 08700100778, make sure you have your merchant ID handy. I had to show them my BT bill to verify the date and time before they'd agree to send me a replacement machine. Quite the hassle, I must say!

I've been going through my bills and, to my dismay, I've found that over the last four months-between January and April 2013-there's been an excessive number of calls to 08449940340. It appears to be linked to our card processing machine from Cardsave. We're seeing about two calls daily at 6 in the morning, each racking up a charge of 21 pence. When you factor in the sheer number of calls over those four months, it’s evident why I’m feeling quite miffed. Previously, we would only get one or two calls monthly from that number, and they seemed to slip past unnoticed. I’ve reached out to Cardsave about this issue, and they’ve requested that I send a copy of my bills, which I have done, along with a rather stern letter expressing my concerns.
