Hey, I think this number is linked to a home security system or some sort of emergency alarm in the house. It came through as a test call, not an actual emergency.

I just got a call with a robotic woman telling me my line was going to be cut off within a day. Problem is, I’m not listed anywhere and I've always had my number registered with the Telephone Preference Service specifically to block these nuisance calls. Anyone know how to put an end to these annoying callers?

My brother, who lives on his own, has got one of those call guardian phones plus a Lifeline personal safety gadget - you know, a push button autodialler thing. For over a year now, he’s been hit with loads of charges for calls supposedly made to this number. Weirdly, many of these calls show up on the bill at exactly 3:45 am. He definitely isn’t making these calls. Just wondering, has anyone else dealing with this kind of issue got a call blocker or a Lifeline setup too?

I keep seeing this number popping up on my bill, usually around 40p or less. I'm wondering if it's linked to my water meter readings since they’re done automatically. Has anyone else had this?

I've seen that number popping up on my phone bill quite a few times every month, usually at some crazy early hour when everyone's fast asleep. We definitely haven't dialled it ourselves.

My phone keeps making calls by itself, sometimes as many as eight times daily. I'm always home alone, and I haven’t made any of these calls. I tried sorting things out with BT, but they just keep saying that someone must be using my phone. They haven’t really been much help.
