It appears to be an American company being transmitted through a UK network, likely by someone local. It seems they’ve merely swapped numbers, as in previous encounters. Last time, these callers managed to ring ex-directory numbers too, which is incredibly vexing!

It's high time FSDM got a proper ban when it comes to calling folks, especially us TDL. It's a real puzzle how these characters manage to slip through the cracks. More needs to be done to put an end to these nuisance rings once and for all!

I received a call from what turned out to be an autodialler for a debt consolidation company. The automated message launched into a lengthy sales pitch but didn’t bother to identify who they were. Eventually, it prompted me to press five if I wanted to speak to an operator. Regrettably, simply leaving the phone off the hook to run up their costs isn’t an option, as after a short while, an automated message informs you that the other party has disconnected the call. Quite the nuisance, really!
