I got a call from this number, they scheduled an appointment for the 7th of December at 10 in the morning. I attempted to decline having anyone come to my house by email, but they said my email wasn’t valid since it’s a business number. What can I do to prevent this guy from turning up? You mentioned the phone number might be risky.

My 86-year-old mum had an appointment booked with these people, but when I attempted to send an email to cancel, it bounced back saying the email wasn’t monitored. The appointment confirmation email had a phone number, 0844 8770238, so I called it. However, it told me I didn’t have enough credit and needed to top up, even though I’ve got unlimited calls. I won’t be answering if they try to ring and will just block the number.

They say they're providing free advice about legal papers like Powers of Attorney, but as soon as you ask something online, they ring you straight away and push really hard to sell. Honestly, just hang up quick! Even better, just don't get in touch with Will Associates at all.

I just had a peculiar experience with a company called Premier. Oddly enough, we’ve never even requested a loan from them. As soon as we pointed that out, they claimed our details had been shared with a partner organisation. When we insisted we wouldn’t entertain any upfront charges, they quickly assured us they’d remove our name from their list. It all seems a bit fishy, if you ask me.
