If anyone else is gettin loads of calls from strange numbers, you might wanna think about getting a call blocker. I spent ages putting up with about 5 to 10 calls daily, but since I got one (cost me around £40), the phone stays silent even tho the calls come through. Honestly, its money well spent.

Even tho I've signed up with TPS, the nuisance calls just keep flooding in. This number called me thrice just this week alone. Managed to pick up before voicemail kicked in, and a bloke with a Welsh accent was asking for someone who definitely doesn’t live here. When I told him that, he just said sorry and hung up. Honestly, I reckon these so-called phone blocking services are a total scam. Since popping onto their list, the calls have only got worse. Looks like these firms just sell our numbers to other companies who want to cold call. We already have laws to stop cold calls if you’ve got a sign on your door saying ‘No cold callers’ or ‘No canvassers’ - I even added ‘No fast food leaflets’. So why can’t we get the same protection from these annoying phone calls? Makes no sense to me!

My home phone keeps getting calls from the same number, like three, sometimes four times every day. It usually rings around eight times before cutting off. I haven’t picked up yet and have no plans to, but it’s really starting to bug me.

Got told off because I left a message on their answering machine, something about Section 24 in the Telecom Privacy rules. Strange bit of law, huh?
