What’s even more odd is that our phone number has been unlisted, yet somehow they managed to reach me directly!

I received a call regarding an accident, where they were quite eager to offer me £1200 for some aches and pains stemming from the incident. The thing is, we never mentioned any discomfort to our insurance company since we were perfectly fine. It's really baffling how these people found out about this so-called pain.

I just received a rather peculiar phone call from a chap named Steven representing Accident Assistance, who was inquiring about a supposed car incident that took place in a car park way back on 23rd December 2007. Apparently, it wasn't my fault, as some vehicle recklessly darted out in front of me. Does that ring any bells? Not for me, I must say, and I certainly don’t recall exchanging any details with anyone at all. It seems they've somehow acquired my name, despite it not being me involved. It’s almost as if this is a repeat of that two-year-old accident saga all over again!

About a year back, I had a rather trivial bump. I submitted a claim through Carole Nash, but I can’t for the life of me recall who the insurance company for the other driver was. I received a call today from the same number - when I picked up, all I could hear was the sound of an engaged tone echoing in the background. Just a few moments later, they hung up. It seems likely they were using some sort of automatic dialing system.
