I received a call from a claims company, apparently based in Liverpool. A lady on the other end mentioned an old injury claim linked to a car accident from way back in 2007. We kindly asked her to remove us from their list, as this isn't the first time we've been pestered by them. It's getting rather tiresome, and I'm starting to think we’ll keep getting these calls for ages, possibly until that five-year limit for pursuing personal injury claims rolls around!

Earlier today, we gave them a bell, and the chap simply let out a kind of exasperated sigh and hung up the moment we said hello. It’s worth mentioning that we’ve never been involved in any incidents linked to these folks. Quite odd, really!

Earlier on, a company gave us a bell inquiring about an accident from the last three years. When we mentioned we hadn't had any mishaps, the caller insisted it was regarding our Combo Van. We then explained that we'd only recently acquired the van, and just like that, they abruptly hung up. I'm baffled as to how they even obtained our phone number or figured out that we're the new owners of the vehicle.

When this was a claims firm for injuries, we're utterly baffled as to how they've obtained our number. Firstly, we were involved in an incident over five years back, and secondly, we've actually changed our number a couple of times since then. You see, we had a car crash nearly three years ago, and we've already made a claim regarding that. Utterly vexing to receive calls from those RTI claim salespeople! They contacted me this morning, and I made it quite clear that I've never had an accident - which is absolutely the truth. I even asked them to remove my details from their list. But lo and behold, just an hour later, another call from the same lot! It’s infuriating. We often point fingers at comparison sites for all this, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using them unless you’re keen on inviting more of this nonsense into your life.

We received a rather curious call from a company today. They claimed to have details regarding an unresolved claim related to an accident. We explained that we hadn't been in any sort of accident whatsoever. Blimey, they've called our mobile a staggering four times today! Seems like they keep trying us from a 0161 number. Honestly, we only pick up for mates, yet their incessant attempts might just earn them a right earful from us! We're considering reporting these nuisances to the authorities, as they’re completely disrupting our work hours. What a bunch of gits!

I just gave them a ring back. Turns out they’re one of those firms keen on accident and personal injury claims, fishing for clients. They mentioned I’d had an accident in the last couple of years (which I did) and wanted me to share the details. Then they asked if there were any other parties involved. Typical of those pesky ambulance chasers. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother ringing them back; it’ll only waste your time and your money.
