I've been inundated with daily voicemails on my answering machine linked to a private number. Each time, it’s a pre-recorded message from a company known as Advantis, claiming they have something urgent to discuss. They want me to call back on 0844 824 1830, which I'm guessing is one of those premium-rate lines and likely a scam. There's no chance I'm dialling that number. I’m left wondering how on earth they managed to get their hands on my unlisted number in the first place.
