Avoid picking up this call at all costs! I just got stung for £4.58, plus an additional £0.59, merely for answering. It’s outrageous! How on earth are these companies allowed to operate like this? I reckon the telecom firms ought to step up and do better. It would be far more sensible to have a clear warning at the start of such calls, similar to what reverse calls offer, so people are aware they’ll incur charges if they engage.
