Some bloke called me saying he was with Scottish Power and that my electricity contract needed renewing - which I honestly didn’t know about! I rang 1471 to check the number he gave me and it wasn’t the same one at all. He’s called me a couple more times since then.

someone said they were from edf but when i asked questions they just stopped answering.

I got a call from "on" saying my contract was ending in 15 days. They said the owner wasn’t around and gave me this number to ring back. When I told them I'd just renew it online, they completely brushed me off like they didn’t want to hear it.

They claim to be from Eon, but when you try to get them to confirm by asking which account they're calling about, they dodge the question or just cut you off. If you request a callback number, they provide one that doesn't actually lead anywhere.
