Received three calls from this number recently. The first was completely quiet, then there was one with some music playing before a woman's voice thanked me and said goodbye. Finally, a bloke just said "hi" and hung up (definitely not an overseas accent). We didn't utter a word during any of the calls. Interestingly, we have Sky and previously gave them a long ring lasting 75 seconds last month, but this number doesn’t match theirs. The Sky number we have is 08442414141.

I just received a call from this chap who sounded rather perplexed - a curious blend of Indian and American accents, if I'm honest. It was all a bit strange, to be fair!

It appears that the international calling code for Vietnam kicks off with 0084, and the subsequent four digits suggest that the call likely originated from the vicinity of Ho Chi Minh City or its surroundings. However, there's a bit of a dilemma here: these telemarketers seem proficient at disguising their numbers. It's quite possible that they're employing some means to tap into the Vietnamese telecom system and make calls from there.

I've recently received the same call as Chris mentioned earlier. Over the last few days, I've had several calls that show up simply as "International" on my phone. It's rather intriguing that this one came from Sky, especially since I'm on the cusp of going digital in my area. Just a quick note-I'm also signed up with the Telephone Preference Service.

Received two calls in quick succession, spaced about thirty minutes apart. The first time, we simply hung up, brushing it off as a mere prank. The second call, however, we chose to remain on the line, listening to the same tune play repeatedly, thinking to ourselves, “If they want to throw their cash away on these pointless calls, so be it.” After half an hour of this nonsense, an individual with a noticeable Indian accent finally chimed in with a “thank you and goodbye.” Quite bothersome, I must say. And wouldn’t you know it, while I’m penning this, a third call has just come through! They’re looking for someone named Mr Smith, which is exceedingly frustrating.

I received a call at my house just now, purporting to be from the World Lotto Corp in Liechtenstein. There were two individuals on the line, one claiming to be Neil Johnson, and their accents sounded quite Indian or perhaps Pakistani. Strangely, they gave me a phone number: 004233779797, but when I dialled 1471 to check, the number appeared differently. Quite the mystery, if you ask me!

I’ve received three calls from this number this month. Each time, I was treated to some intrusive hold music before a rather dodgy-sounding chap greeted me with a half-hearted “hi hi” and then hung up. Recently, I got another call regarding our BT landline. As soon as we pressed for more information, they became quite rude, prompting us to end the call. I didn’t manage to catch the number, but I can’t help but wonder if there’s a connection between these callers.

I received a call from a chap with a rather exotic accent, claiming to be conducting a survey that required a Mr Smith or one of his relatives. When we made it clear that we were Mrs Gordon and mentioned that we were registered with the Telephone Preference Service, the caller told us to "shut our mouths and hang up." After a brief exchange, during which we identified the company she was representing, we promised to report her and have her dismissed. Interestingly, once our partner took over the conversation, her bravado seemed to vanish, and she quickly ended the call. The rudeness was quite astounding!

We've been inundated with calls from this number. Each time, there's nobody on the line, so we end up hanging up. Then, lo and behold, ten minutes later, the same thing happens again! A rather bewildering chat with an individual from India, who seemed to think they were abroad, was rather amusing. They were quite keen on inquiring when we got our Sky service. As soon as we mentioned our engagement, the questions kept coming! So, we decided to have a bit of a laugh while enjoying their confusion-made the most of the situation, really. However, after a while, it became tiresome, and I ended the call. Oddly enough, they've tried to ring us three times after that-guess it's just our little bit of entertainment, then!

On the rare occasion I do get through, it’s usually someone with an accent that sounds like it’s from a completely different part of the world. Honestly, do these folks really think anyone in their right mind would consider purchasing anything from them? Quite baffling, to say the least!

I received a call from this number, but all I got was some dreadful hold music followed by another ring. They were searching for someone by name, and when I asked who they were, the folks on the other end behaved rather rudely and hung up on me. I tried calling back to request that they remove our number from their directory, but instead, I was met with the sound of a fax machine. Honestly, I don’t even know how they got my number; it's been on a do-not-disclose list as I’ve never shared it with anyone. Quite baffling, really!

I just received a call from this number (just a solitary zero). An individual with an Asian accent asked, "Is Mr. Jones available for a chat?" This raised a red flag for me, as Mr. Jones happens to be my grandfather, who sadly passed away more than two decades ago. Even though our phone number is still listed under her name in the directory, it’s a bit of a dead giveaway, isn't it? I informed them, “I’m sorry, but Mr. Jones is no longer with us.” The caller simply responded, “Alright, I’ll try again later.” To which I retorted, “Well, he definitely won't be taking any calls." Then they abruptly hung up. Such a nuisance!

This morning, we received a call from these characters who were clearly on the hunt for us by our name. The voice on the other end had a distinctly Indian accent. As soon as we asked who was calling, while trying to ascertain who they were after, we were told it was "Sam." When we inquired about the company she represented, she had the audacity to ask us if we were mad-twice! After we reiterated that they were speaking to us directly, she mentioned that they were conducting a survey and whether we'd like to participate. We declined, but honestly, the overall manner was remarkably impolite.

Had two calls from this number today. The first time, we were subjected to some hold music before deciding to hang up. The second call connected us to a chap who had a foreign accent, claiming to represent BMR?? He asked about when we got Sky through a satellite dish. We’re highly dubious that this is actually Sky (considering they’ve reached out to us before when we were looking to upgrade our Sky box to Sky+/HD, despite us cancelling our contract nearly two years back). It certainly feels like another attempt by someone to wring money out of us for a service we’ve got no interest in.

Received a call earlier today showing this number on the caller ID. The moment we answered, we were put on hold with some rather tedious music. We hung up pretty quickly. It seems these clowns are using a predictive dialling system and clearly haven't figured things out properly. I should mention that we’re subscribed to a phone protection service, but it’s hard to tell how effective it really is. If anyone has any information about this company, we’d love to let them know how we feel. Interestingly, the caller ID for that incoming call just leads to a fax machine.
