We’re convinced that this crowd has access to the TPS database. Over the past five weeks, our TPS number has been bombarded by them. The number 001887772277 belongs to some foreign con artists using a non toll-free line, which means you end up footing the bill for any callbacks. Then there's 0188362700 and 08446882800, which are particularly bothersome with calls about double glazing in Lancashire. It’s quite ridiculous really; we're receiving these nuisance calls at least three or four times a week. I swear, it’s two dodgy calls every single day!

I received a call from these folks, but as soon as I picked up, they hung up. We chose not to call them back.

I received a call from this number around 7:50 PM this evening. I'm grateful for the heads-up, as it confirms my suspicions that it’s a scam. Honestly, I'm fed up with having to abandon whatever I’m engaged in just to deal with these nuisances. Could someone please put an end to this nonsense?

I believe this is a loan company (though I didn’t quite catch their name). It’s the standard automated call that rings once, then disconnects, prompting you to call back for a service you have no interest in. When do you reckon the government will put an end to this nonsense?

I received a recorded call from 08446882800 claiming that I was due a refund from my bank. They instructed me to press 1 to claim it or 9 to take my number off their list. I've never contacted them before, so I suspect this is just a scam. Best to steer clear!

Had a rather chilly call from a credit company regarding a loan. Honestly, these sort of sales tactics really ought to be outlawed! If I wanted to know more, I'd pick up the phone myself, thank you very much. And if they hang up, whatever you do, don’t dial them back; that’ll only add to your expenses!

Received a call from this number. Typical dodgy outfit that completely ignores the basic TPS regulations. These individuals are nothing but a bunch of fraudsters. It’s high time that strict penalties were imposed on such companies. The government seems rather indifferent to the whole situation.
