I noticed that a premium rate number has shown up on my mobile statement not just once but twice within the same day, and I can confirm that I haven’t made any calls to that number, as my call history clearly indicates. I reckon it might be a blunder on my provider's part (Virgin), or perhaps something a bit dodgy. I’ve alerted Virgin about this strange charge, and they're in the process of giving me a refund. I can’t shake the feeling that this is a scam targeting phone bills.
