This afternoon, a call came through to my mobile, but the line went dead barely seconds into it. Curious, we attempted to return the call, only to be met with a peculiar whistling sound-somewhat akin to an international dialling tone. A swift rummage through the internet led us to believe it was a company named Cheers International Sales trying to reach us. Now, I’m at a bit of a loss as to their intentions or how they managed to get hold of our number. It’s rather vexing, particularly as we just registered with the Telephone Preference Service last month, and it seems we’ll still be on the receiving end of unwanted calls for at least three more days!

Received a call on my mobile this afternoon from this number, but they hung up shortly after connecting. When I tried to return the call, they dropped the line almost immediately after the ringing started. It felt suspiciously like an international dial tone. After a bit of digging online, it looks like the company might be Cheers International Sales. I have no idea what they actually do or how they managed to get hold of my number. To make matters worse, I only registered with the Telephone Preference Service last month, which means I've got to endure at least another three days of these nuisance calls before things get sorted! Quite annoying, to say the least!
