This so-called business, FLIGHT COMPENSATION UK, certainly knows how to put on a show over the phone. They even have your delayed flight number at hand, which makes them sound credible. However, they promptly hit you with a request for an upfront fee of £90, which they assure you is refundable if you don't succeed. They promise that an email would land in your inbox within 48 hours, but surprise, surprise, it never arrives. You find yourself ringing them repeatedly, only to be placed on hold. Then an American voice pipes up, saying you’re next in line, but after what feels like an eternity of waiting-5 minutes and 3 seconds to be exact-it disconnects you entirely. This reeks of a scam. DO NOT HAND OVER ANY CASH OVER THE PHONE. IT IS A SCAM. To those employed there, shame on you! Surely, you must be aware of the true nature of this operation.
