12 yearsI received a call from a chap named 'Adam', who insisted he was with Talktalk. He said he could lower my monthly bill from £10 to just £7. However, I later discovered that he was actually an employee of Digihomecare, and that the £7 was an additional charge, not a discount. Clearly, he had no affiliation with Talktalk. When I contacted Digihomecare to voice my concerns, they feigned ignorance about the mix-up. Quite baffling if you ask me!AdamTalktalkDigihomecare12 yearsHonestly, I can't help but think you're all being a bit daft. I went ahead and sorted out the plan for myself, and it’s turned out to be a right steal! The advice I got was spot on, and I’ve managed to save a fair bit of dosh. Perhaps you lot should pick up the phone and have a proper chat, rather than whingeing away here without any purpose. It might just lead you to some savings, instead of all this complaining!13 yearsI just wanted to chime in and clarify, THIS IS NOT A SCAM! If you actually pay attention during the conversation, they clearly state that they’re reaching out from DIGITAL HOME CARE to verify whether or not you have a COMPUTER CARE PLAN. If you choose to ignore what they say and jump to conclusions about bank details being a scam, that’s on you! I signed up for the service, successfully negotiated a better price, and discontinued my previous plan. I couldn’t be more satisfied! Honestly, if this were truly a scam, what possible purpose would they have in requesting your account number and sort code? The only thing they could do would be to deposit money into your account or set up a direct debit. Honestly, it’s baffling.13 yearsHello there! I've encountered a rather similar situation myself. A chap named Greg reached out to me, insisting he was representing Plusnet and could slash my bills. Quite the tempting offer, I must say! I received a correspondence from this so-called company located at DIGI Homecare, 135 Hello House, Somerford Road, Christchurch, Dorset BN23 3PY (08445677889). Curiosity got the better of me, so I gave them a bell. They assured me they’re on the up and up and had no idea who this Greg fellow was. Plusnet is also scratching their heads over the whole affair. It's a bit of a puzzler! I’m planning to inform Trading Standards about it.GregPlusnetDIGI HomecareHello HouseSomerford RoadChristchurchDorsetTrading Standards13 yearsHonestly, I’ve reached my wits' end with these pesky scammers. It’s infuriating to think they believe I would fall for their tricks! I’m far from gullible, and I absolutely abhor these con artists. I put in a lot of effort to earn my money, so why on earth can’t they just put in some honest work instead of trying to swindle folks? It’s beyond frustrating!13 yearsToday, on the 5th of November 2013, my mother received a rather dubious phone call from someone named Greg, claiming to represent PlusNet. He boldly stated that they could lower her monthly charges from £10 to £6.99. Naturally, they requested her bank details, but she wisely declined to provide any information. A bit of digging revealed that this outfit is actually a sham operation going by the name of PC Genie, with their website being www.pcgenie.moonfruit.com. They purport to offer Digital Homecare Plans to assist with remote PC servicing! In my opinion, they are nothing more than scammers targeting the elderly and vulnerable, attempting to swindle good honest folk out of their hard-earned cash. If anyone wants to pursue this further, their address is 15 St Catherines Road, Bournemouth, BH6 4AE-feel free to reach out or file a complaint with the authorities. PLEASE STAY VIGILANT!GregPlusNetPC GenieSt Catherines RoadBournemouthBH613 yearsI received a rather bewildering call earlier. At first, I assumed they were discussing a mobile phone issue, but after my husband called them back, the conversation took a strange turn. They suddenly started claiming they could lower my Sky Care plan - which I don’t even possess! They mentioned cutting the price from £10 a month down to £6.99. Naturally, when they requested my bank details, I refused to provide any. Overall, it was quite the puzzling experience!Sky Care14 yearsDoes anyone happen to have any information about this number?Submit Your Own Report (0844 567 7889)
