Got a call from a bloke called Adam saying he was with Talktalk. He said he could cut my monthly bill from £10 down to £7. Later, I found out he was actually from Digihomecare, and that £7 wasn’t a discount but an added charge. Definitely wasn’t speaking to Talktalk at all. When I rang Digihomecare, they acted all shocked like it was a misunderstanding.

Honestly, I’d say you lot are daft, especially since I sorted the plan on my own and it’s saved me quite a bit. Maybe you should try giving them a call and actually see if you can cut your costs, instead of just whining on here for no good reason.

Just to clear things up, THIS AINT A SCAM. When I answered, they told me they were with DIGITAL HOME CARE and asked if I had a COMPUTER CARE PLAN. If you hang up as soon as they ask for bank details, thinking it’s a scam, then you’re just being silly. I actually signed up, got a better deal, cancelled my old plan and I’m pretty happy with it. If this was some dodgy scam, why would they even bother asking for your account number and sort code? All they can do is put money in or set up a direct debit. Honestly, some people...

I got a call from someone using the name Sam Nash, who said he was calling on behalf of SKY. He told me I’d been overcharged for my broadband and offered to lower my monthly payment from £10.00 down to £7.89. Don’t fall for this! It’s a trick to get your bank details like your account number and sort code. Once they have that, they try to set up a direct debit to steal money from your account. These scammers are very convincing and seem to be targeting older people. The company behind this is Digi Homecare, located at 135 Hello House, Somerford Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 3PY. If you ring their number back, they act shocked and say they’ll look into it, then you never hear from them again. They’re proper scammers and thieves. I’ve reported the whole thing to Trading Standards and Action Fraud. I’ve also let SKY know someone is pretending to be them. Stay vigilant!

Just had a similar experience, some bloke named Greg rang me pretending to be from Plusnet, saying he could lower my bill. I actually got a letter from a company called DIGI Homecare with an address at 135 Hello House, Somerford Road, Christchurch, Dorset BN23 3PY (08445677889). I gave them a ring to check and they said they’re legit but had no clue about any Greg. Plusnet also said they haven't heard of him. Proper strange. I’m gonna report this to Trading Standards.

I’m seriously fed up with all these scam calls. I’m no fool, so don’t bother trying to trick me. Scams are just the worst. I’ve got to earn every penny and it’s annoying that some folks would rather cheat than do real work. Why can’t they just find honest jobs instead of ripping people off?

Today, my mum got a call from someone named Greg who said he was ringing from PlusNet. He told her they were going to cut her monthly bill from £10 down to £6.99. Then he asked for her bank info, which she wisely didn’t give. After looking into it, turns out it’s a fake firm called PC Genie, with a website at www.pcgenie.moonfruit.com. They claim to offer Digital Homecare Plans to fix your PC remotely, but honestly I reckon they’re scammers just trying to take money off vulnerable people. Their address is 15 St Catherines Road, Bournemouth, BH6 4AE if you want to report them or get in touch. Just be very careful with callers like these!

It was a bit of a weird call - initially, I assumed it was about my mobile phone. Then I called my husband back and suddenly they started talking about some sort of Sky care contract, which I’ve never signed up for. They said they could drop the price from £10 a month to £6.99. Asked me for my bank info, but obviously I didn’t give it.
