Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, asked straight away for the Head of IT or Facilities by name. The woman on the line sounded nice but was a bit all over the place, like she was stuck trying to remember her script. When I asked if she could give me a direct number for the Head, she said we don’t have one and then quickly ended the call.

So this bloke called me from Croner, said his name was Anthony and wanted to speak to the business owner about some meeting on the 8th of March. I said we weren’t going and when he kept on pushing, I quickly looked up the number online while on the call. Saw all these comments and just told him nope, not interested, then ended the call.

Got a call again from some company called Crona, saying I’d reached out about Covid and job risks, which I definitely didn’t. Told them I wasn’t interested in anything they were selling, but they kept ringing me back. Total pushy sales stuff I never asked for or wanted. Sorted it by blocking the number now. Absolutely wouldn’t deal with this lot for anything.

This bloke rang me up, trying to freak me out with stuff about Employment Tribunals and all that nonsense, wanting to chat about contracts and health and safety rules. Told him I couldn't spare 45 minutes for his Zoom sales pitch. He got all snappy and told me that a tribunal would take more than 45 minutes anyway, then started munching on his lunch while we were still on the phone. Proper rude, both the attitude and chomping away like that!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Croner about health and safety stuff. Actually, I’d already had another call earlier from a different number spouting the same thing. I told the second caller I’d had someone round recently for that, so he asked if it was environmental health and how it turned out. I just said everything was alright!
