The woman on the line sounded nice but was a bit all over the place, like she was stuck trying to remember her script. When I asked if she could give me a direct number for the Head, she said we don’t have one and then quickly ended the call.

I said we weren’t going and when he kept on pushing, I quickly looked up the number online while on the call. Saw all these comments and just told him nope, not interested, then ended the call.

I've just received yet another call from some outfit calling themselves Crona, claiming I’d reached out to them about Covid and job-related hazards-when I most certainly did not. I made it clear I had absolutely no interest in whatever they're pushing, yet they persisted in calling me back. It felt like a relentless sales tactic for something I never solicited or desired. I've now blocked the number. Honestly, I wouldn’t consider engaging with this company under any circumstances.

I’ve just had a rather unpleasant experience with a caller who seemed more interested in scaremongering about Employment Tribunals and pushing compliance issues related to contracts and health and safety. I mentioned that I was pressed for time and couldn’t indulge in a lengthy 45-minute Zoom sales pitch at the moment. To my surprise, he abruptly wrapped up the conversation by saying it might take longer than that if I found myself entangled in a tribunal situation. To top it all off, he was munching away on his lunch while we spoke. Quite disrespectful on both fronts, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Croner about health and safety stuff. Actually, I’d already had another call earlier from a different number spouting the same thing. I told the second caller I’d had someone round recently for that, so he asked if it was environmental health and how it turned out. I just said everything was alright!

They were presenting themselves as if they were affiliated with the government, suggesting it was imperative to use their services. I mentioned that we already rely on Peninsula, and honestly, the chap on the other end of the line practically rushed to end the call.
