I kept ringing KK Catering (events@kkcatering[###]) because their website lists this number without any clear notice about extra charges, which I thought Ofcom rules say they have to show. No fine print or anything to warn me either. I assumed these calls were part of my BT plan, but after a few attempts, I found out that wasn’t the case.

BT ended up charging me for a call to this number, even though I swear I never dialled it. It happened when I was the only person at home, so there’s no way anyone else made the call. I’ve since blocked the number just to be safe.
