Got a call flagged as 'probable scam' on my phone (love that feature). They said they were from O2, trying to offer me a discount on my contract. Bit odd considering my plan with them finished ages ago! Could hear loads of noise in the background, so definitely a call centre. The lady sounded Asian, but her accent was hard to catch. Honestly feel bad for honest Asian call agents, since I’ve pretty much lumped every call like this into the scam bucket after getting hundreds over the years. I just don’t waste my time with them anymore!

This bloke's definitely a con artist.

Said they were representing O2, but when I queried my first name, they couldn't provide it. Kept going on with the same spiel, insisting I share my email to unlock some supposed discount on my bill. When I pressed for clarification on my name to verify their authenticity, they just regurgitated the same lines without addressing my enquiry at all. Very suspicious if you ask me.

I got a call from someone saying they were with O2 and had a discount for my bill. They couldn't even get my first name right and just kept interrupting me while pushing the same offer again and again, asking for my email address.
