This person said they were calling from O2, telling me about a 20% off deal on my monthly charges. I told them I’m on a pay as you go plan, so there wouldn’t be a bill to discount. Then she just kept repeating the same line like a broken record about the 20% saving. I ended up asking if she was really with O2 because she didn’t seem to understand what pay as you go means at all. If you’ve got a bit of time to waste, it’s actually quite funny to mess with them and see how far you can push them off their usual script!
