Is this actually the case that there's a fee involved? Traditionally, the principle has been that the caller foots the bill. This has certainly been the case when it comes to receiving these unsolicited texts. The recipient shouldn't incur any costs for messages like these, as they're completely unwanted. While we do wish for an end to these texts, it’s important to see these senders more as a nuisance rather than a cause for extra charges-though I suppose it could vary based on your mobile provider!

I've also been inundated with these text messages. It's baffling how they managed to get hold of our numbers. Honestly, I'm quite anxious about the idea of calling their helpline to have my number removed - I reckon it’s probably just confirmed to them that my number is still active. Since making that call, it feels like the texts have multiplied! To “D”, could you explain how your bill increased as a result of those messages? Did you actually end up calling their number, or are you genuinely being charged for receiving those advert texts? I think I ought to take a gander at my bill, just to be on the safe side.

Our mother has been bombarded with these text messages lately and she's not particularly happy about it. Has Graham had any luck with that number? We’ve tried calling the number 084-802, but it doesn’t seem to connect properly. Despite that, we continue to receive these pesky text messages. Surely Ofcom ought to intervene by now, don’t you think?

I've been receiving the exact same messages repeatedly, and when I tried dialling the number to speak with customer service, the call was cut off. It's impossible to get through to anyone! I contacted O2 for assistance, and they told me that other individuals managed to get through. I asked them to put a stop to these messages, but they claimed blocking them would violate some contract. It's quite ridiculous; they seem solely interested in raking in the cash from these texts!

We recently faced a significant issue with our contract, which ballooned from 21 to 50 as a result of these text messages. The messages refer to two numbers: 09099173401 and 08444480002, which is listed as ‘help.’ However, the texts themselves actually originate from 07949116665. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly valued since we simply can't manage these increased phone charges.

After a bit of perseverance, I finally got somewhere. I was on hold for about five minutes until I managed to speak to a chap named Rick, who’s with a company called Oxygenate. I gave him the Caller-ID and even mentioned going to OFCOM if they kept this up. Let’s see just how well that tactic works...
