I was under the impression that all businesses were meant to use standard national rate numbers by this point in time. To my astonishment, I was slapped with a charge of £4.63 for a conversation that dragged on for a painful 8 minutes and 28 seconds. I found myself shuttled about and left hanging without so much as a hint about the costs I was racking up. Rest assured, Viking Direct is going to hear my grievances loud and clear!
