I hardly pick up my phone much, and I wouldn’t have a clue about this number reaching out to me. They called at around 3 in the afternoon on the 24th of April. I can recall a few other calls this month from unfamiliar numbers, but I brushed them off, assuming they were just nuisance calls.

I recently had a chat with my provider, SKY, and they informed me that quite a few of their customers have encountered these dodgy calls. It seems that if you've got an answering machine set up, these con artists can actually reverse the charges! SKY is looking into ways to prevent this number from reaching their clientele. Thankfully, I’ll be receiving some compensation from SKY for the inconvenience.

I've noticed this number popping up on my landline on several occasions. On 9 November 2016, it seems I dialled it back and ended up on the line for just over 18 minutes starting at 1:50 PM. To my dismay, I’ve been hit with a charge of £3.45 for that call. The irony is that my wife and I were enjoying lunch with pals at that very time... I plan to chat with my phone provider about this as soon as I wrap up this message! Frankly, I believe this number is nothing but a scam.
