This caller is incredibly tenacious! When we mentioned that our residence is a Grade 2 listed property, making a visit pointless, they proceeded to threaten us with a fine for declining their visit, claiming it was mandatory. Ridiculous! Next time they ring, I’ll simply end the call, and I've already reported them to the relevant authorities.

Got more or less the same rubbish, they rang me about 7 times over a couple of days.

I've had two calls now from this number, both times someone was asking for Mrs Topliss. No clue who that might be.

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up since it looked unfamiliar.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be the energy efficiency trust, going on about funds supposedly set aside for new windows and doors. I asked them exactly which government scheme had approved this money, ’cause the energy efficiency trust isn’t a government agency or anything. After I pressed them, they just cut me off - bit of a dodgy move if you ask me!

An elderly individual has been duped into revealing personal details. I kindly urge you to take action and put an end to this sort of thing. Much appreciated!

I didn't quite catch the name of the firm that rang me. They were prattling on about inspecting the energy efficiency of windows in the local vicinity. When I mentioned that we were all set and didn't require a visit, they simply hung up on me. We are registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet it appears to have minimal impact on this bunch.

I've no clue who this outfit is... They left a message that sounded like they were chatting with me.... (I was out having lunch with my husband when they called, and we only heard the message once we got back).... They're apparently meant to show up on Monday at 4:00 pm... Yeah, right, I doubt that will happen!

Since moving into our place almost a year back, we've been bombarded with calls every single day for the person who used to live here. Whenever I explain they don't live here anymore, the caller just ends the call immediately. It's really frustrating! With a little baby in the house, the phone ringing nonstop is a nightmare, so we've had to lower the volume to stop waking the baby up.

Honestly, I had a call from ebor and it turned out to be a real game changer for me. My energy costs have dropped by almost half, the folks on the other end were really nice, and my home's never been cozier. Can't say enough good things about it.

Had a call from a bloke named Ben who said he was working for some estate or something, offering an energy check for houses for people over 50 to supposedly cut their bills. Then just a bit later, another guy, Andy, rings to say there was a mix-up and actually it was about surveying doors and windows, not energy bills. Feels like a total con to me. Really hope the cops step in soon.

I've received several calls from this particular number, all regarding energy-saving offers. I've made it clear that I'm not keen on their pitches, yet they seem to disregard my wishes. After a few weeks, they just come right back at it with the same spiel!

Just like others have said here, the idiot who kept going on the phone wouldn’t listen when I said no. They refused to tell me how they got my number, but it’s ex-directory, I’m not on the electoral roll’s open list, and I’m signed up to TPS. If anyone from the company behind these calls ever sees this, please stop the pointless cold calls. If you actually have something worthwhile to offer, find a better way to reach people instead of pestering us and wasting both our time and yours.

They attempted to deceive me into believing they were legitimate. Registering with TPS holds no weight for these individuals. I’ve now added their number to my blocked list using my Truecall device.

I had a rather amusing encounter with a phone operator who requested that I state my name. I cheekily replied, "That all depends on who's on the other end," only for them to abruptly disconnect the call before I could indulge in a bit more banter! What a missed opportunity for a giggle!

Today I got a phone call about some energy saving scheme. The bloke talked super fast and kinda pushed me to book an appointment, but after looking up other reviews I’m not gonna bother going. He claimed to be from a government programme and mentioned grants and said that soon everyone would have to get an energy check done. Sounds dodgy to me.

I've been inundated with calls regarding energy efficiency lately. It seems they’re conducting checks in our vicinity. Quite frankly, I have no interest in this matter whatsoever.

They kept ringing me twice after I clearly said no. They said I'd keep getting calls unless I said yes to having my home's energy checked. Really felt pushed into it, so I’ve decided not to go ahead with the appointment. I’m quite suspicious of that firm.

I never caught their name, but they rang up and set up a visit. When they came round, they said they needed to test how energy efficient our windows were. They told us if the device showed red, we’d have to replace the windows, and if we didn’t agree, they’d report us to the proper authorities and our council tax band would be bumped up. I decided to call York Council and got put through to the folks who handle council tax rates - they told me it was complete nonsense. Seems like a pressure sales trick to me, felt pretty intimidating.

She was talking really quick, I couldn’t quite catch her name. Said something about coming to my road and giving out incentives for energy efficiency. Then she kind of ran out of breath and just ended the call on me!

I couldn't quite grasp her name as she rattled on at a mile a minute. She mentioned something about being in my neighbourhood and promoting energy-saving benefits. Then she almost stumbled over her words before abruptly ending the call!

I received an unsolicited call on the 27th of November, 2014, around a quarter past one in the afternoon. The extension number was 10354. The manner in which the caller conducted themselves was quite unprofessional. When I declined to provide any personal information and raised my concerns, I was unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of some verbal aggression. Quite an unpleasant experience, to say the least!
