I got calls from a firm called Approved Energy ([#]approvedenergy[###]/), they basically work as a middleman helping companies get energy deals sorted. They do operate above board. Thing is, they kept saying they were calling on behalf of nPower because one of my energy deals was about to end. The funny thing is, that deal actually finished half a year ago, so someone must have given them outdated info. The annoying part was getting bombarded with calls like 3 times every day until I finally picked up just to see what the fuss was about. I've since blocked their number to stop it.

They said they were from npower, but i told them i wasn’t looking for any offers. Even after that, got two missed calls from them, so i just blocked the number.

Got a call from someone claiming to sell bank services and card machines. They refused to talk about any prices over the phone, said I'd need to wait for a rep who’d supposedly be around my area. Just felt like a complete waste of time.

I got calls from some so-called brokers acting like they are from N-power but honestly they’re just middlemen trying to scam you. Best thing is to ignore them and get in touch with your actual service provider to let them know about the number. Don’t waste your time with these people.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Npower. They tried to tell me a whole bunch of stuff, but I just told them I was happy with my current setup. Then they just ended the call.

Got a call earlier from someone saying they're from an electricity consulting firm.

Received a call from a woman called Ulanda who said she was ringing for Npower. When I told her everything was already dealt with, she just cut the call off. She was quite impolite, and if that’s how their staff behave, I wouldn’t trust them at all. Seems like a scam to me, so I’m planning to report it to the proper authorities.

Got a call from this number offering to help reduce my costs on card terminals. Definitely wasn’t one of those random cold calls.

someone just rang me saying they were from British Gas or something like that, sounded a bit dodgy to be honest
