got a message saying i paid £500 and that my card was charged 500 gbp at amazeukif. it told me if it was me to reply with y.itno and to ring 0844 357 4451 right away. what freaked me out was i’d just put down a £500 deposit on a car, but it wasn’t through barclays at all. really dodgy!

Got a message from this number saying Barclays had sent a big payment to Amazon from my account. It told me to reply with a ‘y’ if it was alright or give them a ring. Obviously, it’s just a load of rubbish trying to scam people, so don’t bother replying or calling back!
