Absolutely, I received a call from them a few days back as well. They claimed to be from HMRC and insisted it was urgent for me to get in touch regarding an officer handling some tax evasion nonsense. It all felt a bit dodgy, especially since I received a tax refund not long ago, haha!

I’ve just had a rather dubious call from this number, where an ‘automated voice’ claimed to be from HM Revenue and Customs. They insisted I urgently return their call using a different number, threatening that failure to do so would lead to serious legal repercussions. My gut told me it was a scam from the get-go, and after reading similar experiences shared by others, it certainly appears to be the case.

I've received several calls from this number now. When I finally picked up, the caller claimed to be from HMRC, insisting that I owed them £5,500 due to some supposed tax arrears from 2016 to 2017. I thought it was a joke at first and told them so. They then threatened that the police would be at my doorstep in just 15 minutes! Naturally, I hung up, but they keep persistently calling and leaving voicemails. It's utterly ridiculous!

I've received multiple calls, six to be exact, from someone posing as HMRC. Each time, it was just an automated message, warning me that there's an urgent warrant for my arrest unless I either return the call or get a solicitor involved on my behalf. Quite alarming, to say the least!

I received a rather ominous phone call from this number, claiming I was facing legal repercussions for unpaid taxes. When I decided to return the call for clarification, the person on the other end was incredibly impolite, and after I pressed for more information, they abruptly cut the conversation short and hung up on me! How absurd!

Tax office scam alert! Just ignore their threats and don’t bother returning the call. Best to steer clear of these dodgy tactics.
